This picture was taken January 15, 2011. I'm 8 weeks out from my first NPC bikini competition. I'm currently at 14% body fat. Total weight loss of 16 lbs. and 10% body fat.

I want to thank Pure Protein and Hyperstrike. I am very proud and excited of my accomplishments and to receive a monetary reward for this, I'm speechless!! Pure Protein and Hyperstrike are valuable tools for weight management, fitness and overall wellness. I used Pure Protein products before the contest started and still use the products today. Hyperstrike has all the tools I find necessary for success. Meal planning and tracking is crucial. Being new to weight training I used the website to show me the proper lifting techniques. I am very impressed with the articles available for resource.

During the contest I was weight training 4 days per week. For cardio, I ran 4 miles per day taking Sunday off. Typical meals for the day include 3 egg whites and 1 whole egg; Pure Protein strawberry shake; 1/2 grapefruit; chicken or turkey; 1/2 cup of greens; greek yogurt with a scoop of protein; and chicken & spinach salad with olives, cucumbers and almonds. After weight training I would have a Pure Protein shot, steak, beef or pork and 1/2 cup of greens. My night time snack is usually 1 cup of cottage cheese. I carry Pure Protein peanut butter caramel bars when I am unable to get to my normal meals or feel hungry. I would like to mention that during the contest my husband and I spent a week in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. I was nervous that I would gain the weight back. I packed protein bars and protein powder in my suitcase so that I was guaranteed to get over 50 grams of protein a day before eating out. Luckily being a fishing town I ate a lot of tasty fish meals. We ran every day and there was a small gym for a few days of lifting weights. We had a blast and I didn't gain an ounce! I know this has been a lifestyle change and hope that I can inspire and encourage others with my success story.
